នៅពេលដែលអ្នកគ្រូដ៏ស្រស់ស្អាតម្នាក់ មានវ័យ២២ឆ្នាំ ឈ្មោះមាលា មកបង្រៀនលើកដំបូងនៅភូមិ ដាច់ស្រយាលមួយ នាងឃើញថា អ្នកភូមិនេះរស់នៅដោយការភ័យខ្លាច។ មាននារីជំទង់មិនតិចទេត្រូវបានឃាតករសម្លាប់ក្នុងរយៈពេលពីរខែចុងក្រោយនេះ ។ ប៉ុន្តែអ្នកគ្រូមាលាសម្រេចចិត្តមិនត្រឡប់ទៅភ្នំពេញវិញទេ តែនាងតាំងចិត្តបន្តនៅក្នុងភូមិនោះ ដើម្បីវែកមុខឃាតករអាថ៌កំបាំង។កំលុងពេលនោះនាងដឹងខ្លួនច្បាស់ថានាងក៏អាចស្លាប់ដែរ។

"When beautiful 22-year old Melea gets her first teaching job a lonely Cambodia village, she finds the people living there are all terrified.
